Assignment 1 (50 points)
Prompt: An anchor chart is a poster of sorts that teachers can use as a teaching tool. The
premise is that students can look around the classroom to remember things that they have been
taught previously.
Requirements: Your task is to create an anchor chart/poster that could be placed in a classroom
that explains all of the 6 syllable types. Your anchor chart should use colors and pictures that
appeal to elementary-aged students. In addition, you need a “rule” or slogan that goes along with
each syllable type. Upload as a Word document to Canvas. Writing assignments must be APA
compliant and include a title page, appropriate citations, and references.
