Invisibility Superpower

Given an opportunity to choose between invisibility and flying, I would choose invisibility. It offers more benefits to me than flying would. The power of invisibility would highly favour my personality more than flying, given that I’m an introvert. I love spending most of my free time alone. Besides, flying would be a liability to me since everyone could spot me, and if they had bad intentions, they could try to shoot me or something like that.

What is the purpose of your chosen superpower? How would this superpower allow you to accomplish your purpose as a superhero?

The purpose of choosing invisibility as my superhero power is to avoid human contact as much as possible. As an introvert, this power would help me control my visibility in most cases. For instance, when in a place such as a social function, with friends, colleagues, or workmates, and I feel uncomfortable with the situation, the chosen superpower will enable me to become invisible and leave without attention or anyone realizing it. I advocate social justice in society and condemn any form of social injustice or immoralities in society. With this power, it would be possible for me to achieve social injustice and immoralities in society. For example, I would invade personal talks or meeting with people I believe do not have goodwill with the people, such as corrupt politicians, drug smugglers, and thieves. I would have firsthand information regarding criminal activities being planned and convey such information to the relevant authorities without them even noticing. In this way, I will cause confusion and fear of the crimes’ perpetrators, which would lead to a harmonious and peaceful community.

What assumptions do you have about being a superhero and your chosen superpower?

With my invisibility superpower, I assume I can decide to be invisible whenever I choose to. Also, I assume that when I am invisible, my footsteps and movements will not be heard by anyone. When in my invisibility state, I expect that even if I am in a crowd of people, for example, in the streets, I will not have any physical contact with people and be knocked by cars on the roads. Lastly, the invisibility state would allow me to enter all buildings, even those with closed doors. I assume to be more of a spirit when in an invisible state than a normal human.

What does your desire to be invisible or fly say about you? What are some specific goals you could accomplish with your superpower?

My main goal of being invisible is to help me avoid unnecessary interactions with people and curb all criminal activities in the region.
