Microbio discussion 200-300 words bacterial genetic changes

Scientists are concerned that bacteria will be resistant to all antibiotics within the next decade. Using your knowledge of genetics, describe how bacterial populations can develop drug resistance in such a short time frame. Explain why the following statement is false: Sexual reproduction is the only mechanism for genetic change. How can bacteriophages impact bacterial genetics? What extracellular appendages and mechanisms can bacteria use to introduce new genes to neighboring bacteria? Use references in MLA format.

3-5 Pages needed back by May 20th APA STYLE PLAGARISM REPORT

Please  choose a landmark case from the list provided below.  Then, provide a  brief description of the case selected.  Next, provide the historical  context in which the case was argued (e.g., what events were taking  place in society that led the US Supreme Court to hear this particular  case).   Provide the historical evolution of the case, from the time it  was argued in court to the present time. Finally, discuss the impact and  implication the case had in the treatment and management of juveniles  in the criminal or juvenile justice systems and provide a personal  position with respect the Supreme Court’s ruling.  If you agree with the  ruling discuss why there was a need to change the law.  If you disagree  with the position, explain the negative implications of this ruling on  juvenile offenders.

The analysis should be a minimum of 3-5 pages in APA format and 12  point, Times New Roman font.  Use APA style rules and  use outside resources to support positions presented in relation to the  Court’s decision.  If you agree with the ruling discuss why there was a  need to change the law.  If you disagree with the position, explain the  negative implications of this ruling on juvenile offenders.

Gene Manipulation and Genetic Engineering

Discuss how gene transfer is an essential part of the natural world.  How do organisms benefit from gene transfer?  Choose at least two applications of genetic engineering and describe what beneficial products are produced using this technology.  What, if any, are the negatives associated with genetic engineering?

: Role of Molecular Biology in Evolutionary Classification

Topic: Role of Molecular Biology in Evolutionary Classification

How does the recently developed DNA technology help scientists establish a more accurate classification scheme? Information on DNA can often indicate relatedness between organisms and even provide data on how long they have been evolving separately. Discuss the influence of DNA and molecular biology on the future of evolutionary classification.

Biology Assignment 1 Ju

Analysis Paper 1: The Social Construction of Sexuality

Paper Format & Deadline:

For this assignment, you will write a 2-3-page (double-spaced) paper and upload it to WebCourses in Word (.doc/.docx) format.  The paper will have double-spaced text and use standard 12-point font and 1-inch margins. There is no need for a separate title page.  You should cite
at least 1 class reading from the first two weeks of class (Modules 1 and 2).

There’s no need to make use of materials from outside the class.  The assignment must be submitted through WebCourses by Sunday, May 26th at 11:59 PM.

Paper Content

This assignment requires that you first read all of the assigned materials listed for Modules 1-2.  Your entire Analysis Paper should be based on the materials from these modules, including our course text readings and online resources.

Based on the readings we’ve had so far, your paper should explain the sociological approach to sexuality, which argues that sexuality is socially constructed.  In your paper, you should use the ideas expressed in course readings to address at least 2 of the following interrelated ideas:

1. Clearly define what is meant by the social construction of sexuality.

2. How is the sociological perspective different from essentialist approaches to sexuality?

3. What are the important themes in understanding sexuality as socially constructed?

4. What are some important theoretical frameworks that specify the social constructionist perspective on sexuality?

**You must cite your sources. Below is a sample ASA style reference-page citation for a selection from the Stombler et al. text.  Note that the only information to change for other readings are the author(s), reading title, and the page ranges.  And when you cite this reading within the text of your paper, you should cite it as (Christina 2019).  If you are using a direct quotation within your paper’s text, the proper in-text citation includes a page number (Christina 2019: 6).
