In light of the lack of uniformity of licensure and certification standards throughout the United States, what ethical issues do professionals face if they relocate to practice in another state?  Take a look at the counseling compact legislation that is developing over time at CounselingCompact.org or the American Mental Health Counseling Association or American Counseling Association has information on the counseling compact.  Consider the pros/cons and risks to providing telehealth services to clients other than your “home” state of Illinois for your LPC or later LCPC.  

 Minimum use of textbook to demonstrate review of course materials.  Additionally, integrate ACA code of ethics or peer reviewed journal article into main post.  Demonstrate understanding by paraphrasing content into your own wording.  APA format.
